New Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z5
Konica Minolta’s DiMAGE Z5 is a great new compact digital model that offers
a built-in 12x optical Mega Zoom lens (the Z5’s 12x optical zoom lens
and 4x digital zoom combine for a total 48x zoom), an Anti-Shake System, 5.0-megapixel
CCD, and a large 2.0” LCD screen for easy viewing.
Konica Minolta’s proprietary CCD-shift Anti-Shake System is the same
technology used in the Maxxum 7D and DiMAGE A200 models, and is very effective
at high zoom ranges. Anti-Shake allows you to shoot hand held with shutter speeds
4–8 times longer than when shooting without this function. It also offers
sharper images taken during the evening or other low-light situations that would
otherwise be out of focus because of a slow shutter speed. The result is less
blur, even without using a tripod or flash.
The DiMAGE Z5 offers a Rapid AF for quick autofocusing with predictive focus
control. You can focus in approximately 0.2 second at the camera’s wide
angle setting, and about 0.3 second at the telephoto setting. Konica Minolta’s
CxProcess III image processing technology helps give you the best images possible.
